Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) - PRP involves taking blood from a vein, much like when you have your blood drawn for lab tests. This blood is then spun down or concentrated with centrifuge. These concentrated cells can be injected into a degenerative tendon or joint (cartilage). This can be done in the office or in conjunction with a surgical procedure such as a repair of a tendon to enhance healing.
